PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purification device capable of detecting positive pressure in a blood circuit without providing new sensors separately.SOLUTION: A blood purification device includes a blood circuit capable of extracorporeally circulating a patient blood from the tip of an artery side blood circuit 1 to the tip of a vein side blood circuit 2, a dialyzer 3 for purifying the blood that flows through the blood circuit, and air bubble detection means 7 including holding means H capable of holding a part of the blood circuit, an ultrasonic vibration element A3 capable of oscillating an ultrasonic wave to a flow channel held by the holding means H, and an ultrasonic wave receiving element A4 capable of receiving the ultrasonic wave oscillated from the ultrasonic vibration element A3 that transmits the flow channel, which can detect air bubbles in the liquid flowing through the flow channel based on the ultrasonic wave received by the ultrasonic wave receiving element A4.
