PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laryngoscope and a blade for the laryngoscope, which can prevent extension of operation time and increase of number of operation which are caused by things that, when a tongue hangs down from the edge of the blade of the laryngoscope, the blade is taken out from an intraoral space and is replaced with the other new one, and so on.SOLUTION: A laryngoscope 1 includes a handle 10 and a blade 20 coupling with the handle 10. The blade 20 includes a blade body 21 and an auxiliary blade 22. The auxiliary blade 22 can be transformed between the housing position in the state where it is hidden by overlapping with the blade body 21 and the expanded position in the state where it shifts from the side end of the blade body 21 to the outside thereof.【課題】舌が喉頭鏡のブレードの縁から垂れ下がってしまったような場合に、ブレードを口腔内から取り出し、別のブレードに交換するようなことによる作業時間の延長や、作業回数の増加を防ぐことができる喉頭鏡及び喉頭鏡用ブレードを提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】ハンドル１０と、ハンドル１０に連結されたブレード２０と、を備える喉頭鏡１であって、ブレード２０は、ブレード本体２１と、補助ブレード２２と、を備えており、補助ブレード２２は、ブレード本体２１と重なり潜伏した状態にある収容位置と、ブレード本体２１の側端から外側へ移動した状態にある拡張位置との間で変化できる。【選択図】図１
