PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbable article that enables a wearer to grasp his/her health condition on the basis of the pH value of his/her body fluid, even when visibility of a pH value indication body from a surface sheet side is deteriorated.SOLUTION: The absorbable article 1 includes a liquid-permeable surface sheet 2, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3, and an absorber 4 that is disposed between the surface sheet 2 and the back sheet 3. The pH value indication body 50 producing a color reaction depending on the pH value of the wearers body fluid is disposed between the back sheet 3 and the absorber 4. A liquid-permeable layer 7, which has a high-liquid-permeability part 71 making the wearers body fluid permeate the side of the back sheet 3 and a low-liquid-permeability part 72 making the permeation of the body fluid hard more difficult than the high-liquid-permeability part 71, is provided on the side of the absorber 4 with respect to the pH value indication body 50.
