The invention relates to a method for the permanent shaping and color modification of keratin fibers, particularly human hair, in a single process, in which first a waving of the keratin fibers is carried out by means of a perming agent (M1) and subsequently an oxidative coloration by means of a foam-like dyeing agent (M2). Simultaneously, a fixing of the permanent waving occurs by means of the oxidizing agent contained in the oxidative dyeing agent. The method according to the invention results in an uniform waving and dyeing result and leads only to small or no damage to the hair.
