FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to field of medicine. To diagnose degree of diabetes severity carried out is optic measurement of blood characteristics in hermetic thermo- and moisture-stabilised chamber filled with gas mixture under atmospheric pressure with constant oxygen content. Dependence of rate of blood sample blood saturation with oxygen on time is calculated. Calculated dependence and dependence of rate of blood saturation with oxygen of blood sample from healthy organism of the same age and sex are compared, and by comparison of said dependences degree of diabetes severity is determined. Device for diagnosing degree of diabetes severity contains hermetic thermo- and moisture-stabilised chamber, connected with chamber system of supply of gas mixture under atmospheric pressure with constant content of oxygen system of thermo- and moisture-stabilisation optic oximeter registration unit. Device has converter of optic signals, unit of comparison and unit of information display, and hermetic thermo- and moisture-stabilised chamber has means for continuous mixing of blood sample with active element, located in cuvette for placement of blood sample. Unit of registration is connected with converter of optic signals, which is connected with unit of comparison, switched to unit of information display.EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to estimate degree of diabetes severity by parameters of kinetics of oxygen exchange of blood with contacting with it gas mixture.5 dwgГруппа изобретений относится к области медицины.
