PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic treatment apparatus for achieving the optimum cavitation in the treatment of a tissue of a living body.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic treatment apparatus comprises an ultrasonic vibrator 18 for generating ultrasonic waves, a probe 24 connected to the ultrasonic vibrator 18 for transmitting the ultrasonic vibration generated by the ultrasonic vibrator 18, and a treatment part 26a formed in the probe 24 for treating the tissue of the living body with the transmitted ultrasonic vibration. The treatment part 26a has a cavitation control part 39 formed in such a shape that the pressure near the outer surface is larger than the saturated steam pressure of a liquid in the fluid analysis on the ultrasonic vibration inside the liquid.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
