PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent product capable of preventing detachment of an absorbent material layer from a liquid impermeable layer which may occur under using environment (dry state or wet state) while preventing reduction in liquid absorptivity due to hydrophobicity in thermoplastic resin fiber consisting the absorbent material layer by utilizing thermoplastic resin containing unsaturated carboxylic acid, unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride, or mixture thereof as a monomer component as a component of the liquid-permeable layer.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises an absorbent product comprising a liquid-permeable layer, liquid impermeable layer, an absorbent material layer arranged between the liquid-permeable layer and the liquid impermeable layer, and a first jointing part. The liquid impermeable layer contains thermoplastic resin comprising unsaturated carboxylic acid, unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride, or mixture thereof as a monomer component. The absorbent material layer contains cellulose water absorptive fiber. The first jointing part joints the liquid impermeable layer and the absorbent material layer.
