PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous fishing rod capable of safely and effectively providing a good catch of fish at a low running cost in sea fishing in an early morning and evening, and at night.SOLUTION: The fishing rod is formed by winding a carbon fiber or the like around a steel core bar (a mandrel) 1 a number of times, while performing heat treatment to form a body (a blank rod) 5 of the fishing rod.
