A medical device for performing a bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) that includes a tubing having a first lumen configured for communication with a first reservoir, the first lumen having an open distal end configured for communication with the first reservoir, and a second lumen that is separate from the first lumen and configured for communication with a second reservoir.
