摘要:
The present device relates to medical technology, namely to devices for isolating evoked potentials with diagnostic and research purposes. The technical result of using the device is the creation of the possibility of the appearance of evoked potentials and their simultaneous recording on the electroencephalogram. The technical result is achieved by the fact that the device contains a programmable microcontroller and has connectors for connecting external stimulation devices and an electroencephalographic recorder. The device works as follows. For the emergence of evoked potentials and their registration, the device simultaneously sends a signal (signals) to both external stimulation devices and to the EEG registrar that is connected to the computer. During the experiment, the EEG of the subjects brain is removed. At the time of giving the subject an external stimulus, this stimulus is recorded on a separate EEG channel. Depending on the nature of the experiments, the different in nature stimuli (sound, light, signs) have their own separate label on any device operated by a separate EEG channel of the recorder. In this case, the labels of different stimuli are fed to different channels. Thus, with further analysis of the EEG, the researcher receives the exact time of the external stimulus submitted, after which he can determine the response time of the brain to this stimulus. Also, depending on the experiment, due to this, it is possible to fix the moment of the reciprocal motor reaction of the subject to external stimulation. The registration of the response of the experimental to the external stimulus occurs with the help of a gamepad connected to the device.
