The present invention specifically provides use of the 571 SNP sites or a substance for detecting the 571 SNP sites in any of the followings: (1) construction of a Chinese cabbage DNA fingerprint database; (2) genetic diversity analysis and/or evolution analysis of Chinese cabbage germplasm resources; and (3) molecular breeding of Chinese cabbage. The physical positions of the 571 SNP sites are determined based on alignment of the whole genome sequence of Chinese cabbage variety Chiifu-402-2. The whole genome sequence of Chinese cabbage variety Chiifu-402-2 has a version number of V1.5. The 571 SNP sites are BrSNPA1001 to BrSNPA10043. Experiments prove that the 571 SNP sites can be used not only in the genetic diversity analysis and evolution analysis of Chinese cabbage, but also in the molecular breeding for Chinese cabbage, providing important technical support therefor.
