An apparatus is provided for at least partially supporting a leaflet of a heart valve with regurgitation, the apparatus including at least one sub-valve device, the sub-valve device comprising a sub-valve support. In addition, the subvalve support includes an upper support surface in contact with a leaflet that is spaced longitudinally from the opposing lower support surface. The support peripheral wall extends longitudinally between the upper support surface and the lower support surface, at least a portion of which contacts the subvalvular heart wall adjacent to the heart valve. The anchor portions are disposed adjacent to the upper support surface and spaced in the vertical direction. The anchor portion includes a leaflet contact lower anchor surface that is spaced longitudinally from the opposing upper anchor surface. The connector neck is inserted longitudinally between the upper support surface and the lower anchor surface and is directly connected to the upper support surface and the lower anchor surface.
