PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide antibodies useful as therapeutics for treating and/or preventing diseases associated with cells expressing CLD18 (claudin-18 which is an integral membrane protein located in a tight junction of epithelium and endodermis) including tumor-related diseases such as gastric cancer, esophageal cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, colon cancer, hepatic cancer, head-neck cancer, and cancer of a gallbladder.SOLUTION: There are provided antibodies that have an ability to combine with CLD18 and mediate death of cells expressing CLD18； hybridomas capable of producing the antibodies； complexes containing the antibodies combined with therapeutics； and medicinal compositions containing the complexes and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers.【課題】胃癌、食道癌、膵癌、肺癌、卵巣癌、結腸癌、肝癌、頭頸部癌、および胆嚢の癌などの腫瘍関連疾患を含む、ＣＬＤ１８（上皮と内皮の密着結合：タイトジャンクション内に位置する内在性膜タンパク質であるクローディン１８）を発現する細胞に関連する疾患を治療するおよび／または予防するための治療薬として有用な抗体を提供する。【解決手段】ＣＬＤ１８に結合する能力を有し、およびＣＬＤ１８を発現する細胞の死を媒介する抗体。前記抗体を産生することができるハイブリドーマ。治療薬に結合した前記抗体を含む複合体。前記複合体、および医薬的に許容される担体を含有する医薬組成物。【選択図】なし
