PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator of a sanitary tampon, wherein an outer cylinder can be smoothly inserted to a vaginal cavity without being accompanied by pains when inserting the sanitary tampon into the vaginal cavity using the applicator.
SOLUTION: The applicator 1 of the sanitary tampon includes: an outer cylinder 2 which has openings 23a and 23b at both front and rear ends and houses the sanitary tampon 3 in the inside and a push-out member 4 which is inserted into the opening 23b at the rear end of the outer cylinder 2 to push the sanitary tampon 3 from the rear and push it out from the opening 23a at the front end. The applicator 1 of the sanitary tampon is provided with a grip 5 which has an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the rear end vicinity area 22 of the outer cylinder 2, is fitted to the rear end vicinity area 22 of the outer cylinder 2 and is turnable in the circumferential direction of the outer cylinder 2.
