PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate care to be performed then by accurately detecting bed-leaving state of a care-receiver.SOLUTION: A care system comprises a bed-leaving sensor unit 12 including a bed-leaving sensor 21 that detects a bed-leaving state of a care-receiver residing in a habitable room of care facilities, and a processing section 25 that performs notification processing for notifying of the bed-leaving state of the care-receiver on the basis of the detection result by the bed-leaving sensor 21, and the care system is disposed in a habitable room. The bed-leaving sensor unit 12 further includes a photosensor 22 for detecting illuminated light.
