PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus capable of making a pressing board approach, or separate from, a radiographic platform through manual operation and electric operation while suppressing the enlargement of the apparatus body.SOLUTION: By rotating a screw shaft member 46 extending in the vertical direction, in one direction, a nut member 74 moves to the side of a radiographic platform 22 in the vertical direction. A case 78 moves with movement of this nut member 74, and the pressing board 26 attached to the end of the case 78 also moves to the side of the radiographic platform 22. When the position of the pressing board 26 is finely tuned, a technologist moves the pressing board 26 by rotating a handle 96.
