PURPOSE: A reinforced earth retaining wall for expressing vegetation and a construction method thereof are provided to plant plants and trees in the retaining wall and to grow the plants and trees without artificial management. CONSTITUTION: A reinforced earth retaining wall for expressing vegetation and is composed of non-vegetation blocks(B') and vegetation blocks(B). The vegetation blocks are installed in the side or the top and bottom of the non-vegetation blocks. The vegetation blocks are more protruded than the front of the non-vegetation blocks. The vegetation blocks and non-vegetation blocks have front, rear, side, top and bottom through holes, protrusions, coupling protrusions, and stiffener insertion grooves.본 발명은 블록으로 축조되는 옹벽에 초목류의 식생이 가능하도록 하되, 인위적인 관리 없이도 자연적인 생장이 가능하도록 무식생 블록(B')과 이 무식생 블록의 전면보다 앞으로 돌출되는 식생 블록(B)의 조합 축조에 의해 이루어지며, 무식생 블록(B')을 1단 이상으로 축조하고, 이 무식생 블록(B')의 후부 전방에 투수성 골재(R1)를 채우고, 그 위에 부직포(Q)를 세워서 대어주되 부직포(Q)의 하부는 상기 투수성 골재(R1)의 위에 앞뒤 약 0.5~1m의 폭으로 깔고 무식생 블록(B') 배면에 세워진 부직포(Q)의 상부 중 인접하는 무식생 블록(B') 사이 사이에 위치하는 곳에서는 그 폭만큼 부직포(Q)의 양측을 절개한 상태에서 상기 투수성 골재(R1) 위에 깔린 부직포(Q) 위에 초목류의 뿌리가 뻗을 수 있는 식생토체(R2)를 채우고 그 위에 상기 부직포(Q)의 나머지 부분을 덮어주며, 상기 무식생 블록(B') 위에 식생 블록(B)을 1단 이상 축조하되, 이 식생 블록(B)의 내측에 형성된 관통공(170)의 전면(172)에 상기 단계(S2)에서 절개된 부직포(Q)를 대고 관통공(170) 내측에 식생토체(R3)를 채우고, 상기 식생 블록(B) 후방의 부직포(Q) 위에 투수성 골재(R4)를 채움으로써 원하는 높이의 식생경관 연출용 보강토 옹벽을 축조한다.
