A system for stowing, preserving and distributing fodder in ships for transporting large quantities of animals, the system (1) comprising: - at least one silo (2, 3) for storing the fodder, located in a region of the ship (N) that is located below deck； - means (4) for automated drawing of the fodder from the storage silo (2, 3) to convey it into at least one intermediate region (5) located at a higher level than the level at which the compartments (6) for the animals to be fed are located； - means (7) for the automated distribution of the fodder from the intermediate region (5) to the compartments (6) for the animals to be fed.La présente invention a trait à un système permettant de ranger, de conserver et de distribuer du fourrage dans des bateaux destinés à transporter un grand nombre d'animaux, lequel système (1) comprend : - au moins un silo (2, 3) permettant de stocker le fourrage, situé dans une zone du bateau (N) qui se trouve sous le pont ； - un moyen (4) permettant d'enlever de façon automatisée le fourrage du silo de stockage (2, 3) pour l'acheminer dans au moins une zone intermédiaire (5) située à un plus haut niveau que le niveau où se trouvent les compartiments (6) destinés à l'alimentation des animaux ； - un moyen (7) permettant de distribuer de façon automatisée le fourrage depuis la zone intermédiaire (5) jusqu'aux compartiments (6) permettant aux animaux d'être nourris.
