PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a high picture quality subtraction image by taking noise of pixel value dependence before inter-image difference processing into account and adaptively performing emphasis processing of a subtraction image.SOLUTION: A subtraction image is generated by performing difference processing between a mask image being a radiation image obtained by imaging a subject before contrast medium inflow and a live image being a radiation image obtained by imaging the subject after the contrast medium inflow. An emphasis degree being a degree of emphasis processing to the subtraction image is set. An emphasis correction value being a correction value to the emphasis degree is calculated from the live image or the mask image.
