PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system that is comprised of an endoscope, a fixture, and a fastener.SOLUTION: The endoscope system includes an endoscope 200 and an actuation device 100. The actuation device comprises: an actuation device body 110 comprising a first fixation mechanism for affixing an accessory device to the actuation device body and a curved slot； and an actuator. The actuator comprises an operation mechanism and a second fixation mechanism for affixing the accessory device to the actuator. The operation mechanism moves a second member relative to a first member. The second fixation mechanism extends into the slot and moves from a first end to a second end on a side opposite to the first end of the slot. The actuation device is mounted to the endoscope via a fixture. A first member of the accessory device is mounted to the device body via the first fixation mechanism.
