The object of the present invention is to enable an electric reel to rapidly and easily perform temporary adjustment on a motor output when the motor is rotated. A reel main body (1) includes an output adjustment operating rod (9), a pressing operation part (12), a motor (8) for rotating and driving a reel (2) along a line winding direction, and a motor control means. The output adjustment operating rod (9) is provided on the reel main body (1) for stepwise adjusting the rotation of the motor (8) from a halt condition. The pressing operation part (12) is provided on the reel main body (1), and has a pressure sensor (16) for changing the output in response to a pressing force. The motor control means is configured to control the motor output to be the output that is set by operation of the output adjustment operating rod (9), and reduce the motor output in response to the output of the pressure sensor when the motor is rotated by the operation of the output adjustment operating rod (9).
