PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerosol hair dressing agent which gives a strong foam break feeling and a cool feeling at application, permeates into the hair root and the whole hair only by spraying, is easily compatible with the hair and enables hair dressing to give a refresh feeling of the scalp and a dry feeling of the hair, excels in hair dressing properties, and is suppressed afterdraw caused just after discharging.SOLUTION: The aerosol hair dressing agent is composed of a stock solution and a component (F), or a propellant. The stock solution contains components (A) 0.005-15 mass% of a hair-dressing polymer, (B) 0.005-1 mass% of a polyethylene oxide having at least 100,000 of a number-average molecular weight, (C) 0.05-3 mass% of a surfactant, (D) 35-70 mass% of ethanol and (E) 20-62 mass% of water.
