The present invention relates to a liposomal lupeol acetate (Lipo-LA) and its use in the treatment or prevention of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The liposomal lupeol acetate of the present invention especially inhibits inflammation and reduction of osteoclast formation in the progression of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in a half dose of the un-capsulated LA, which may significantly reduce the occurrence of RA and improve the therapeutic efficacy of LA.本發明係關於羽扇豆醇醋酸微脂體及其用於治療或預防類風濕性關節炎(RA)之用途。本發明之羽扇豆醇醋酸微脂體已發現，其僅需使用未包覆之羽扇豆醇醋酸的一半劑量，即可達到相同抑制發炎及蝕骨細胞生成之效果，不僅可改善臨床類風濕性關節炎之發炎腫脹、導致關節變形等病程，以降低罹患類風濕性關節炎的機率，更能降低使用羽扇豆醇醋酸之製藥成本及投藥效率。
