The present invention discloses an arch-shaped removable dental appliance that is removably mounted on the teeth of an upper jaw or a lower jaw constituting a dental arch and a method for manufacturing the same. The removable dental appliance according to the present invention includes a cover frame that has a layered structure which includes a hard first cover layer and a soft second cover layer provided on a further inner side than the first cover layer and has a tooth groove in a longitudinal direction； and a hard core frame that has a tooth contact surface which is shaped to be punched by edge portions of a plurality of teeth among the teeth described above and is provided in the tooth groove of the cover frame, the cover frame including a cover inner wall constituting one side wall of the tooth groove to be provided along a tongue side of the teeth, a cover outer wall constituting the other side wall of the tooth groove to be provided along the front of the teeth, and a cover base connecting the cover inner wall and the cover outer wall to each other so block the teeth and the relative teeth from each other. The removable dental appliance according to the present invention prevents tooth damage by absorbing a gritting or gnashing impact, is effective for tooth arrangement maintenance and is highly durable to continuous use.
