PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornament for an ornamental foliage plant, having dignity, beauty, and a healing effect that do not look too bad against the beauty of the plant while evoking the beauty of the plant.SOLUTION: A plant is planted in solidified culture soil and, at the same time, a sound production device 13 or/and a light-emitting device are incorporated. The solidified culture soil is formed to have a desired shape. Then, decoration is performed by winding a solidified culture soil 14 with the use of a string, a bond, a rope or the like. Thus, a handball-shaped ornament 10 for obtaining pleasure to grow an ornamental foliage plant 11 and a healing effect is provided without requiring a flowerpot.
