CONSTITUTION: A health functional food composition for curing and preventing respiratory disease is produced by the following steps: naturally aging platycodon grandiflorum and garlic; adding hard boiled glutinous rice, starch syrup, and water into the aged platycodon grandiflorum and garlic for saccharifying; filtering the saccharified extract, and concentrating the filtrate; and adding one extract obtained from an ingredient selected from ginseng, radish, lycium chinense, or zanthoxylum piperitum into the concentrate.
