PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brown spot-resistant cucumber plant and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The brown spot-resistant cucumber plant of the invention has a brown spot-resistant genetic locus on the sixth chromosome. A breed of cucumber plants with brown spot resistance and powdery mildew resistance can be obtained by crossing the brown spot-resistant and powdery mildew-resistant cucumber plants of the invention. Therefore, according to the brown spot-resistant cucumber plant of the invention, economic and labor loss, such as yield reduction and increase of use amount of agricultural chemicals due to brown spot and powdery mildew development, can be significantly reduced.【課題】褐斑病抵抗性キュウリ植物およびその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の褐斑病抵抗性キュウリ植物は、第６染色体上に褐斑病抵抗性遺伝子座を有する。本発明の褐斑病抵抗性キュウリ植物と、うどんこ病抵抗性キュウリ植物とを交雑することによって、褐斑病抵抗性およびうどんこ病抵抗性を備えるキュウリ植物の品種が得られる。このため、本発明の褐斑病抵抗性キュウリ植物によれば、褐斑病およびうどんこ病の発生による収量低下および農薬使用の増加などの経済的ならびに労力的な損失を、大きく軽減できる。【選択図】図４
