PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate comparing function information with form information when overlappingly displaying a functional image obtained by photoacoustic measurement on a form image obtained by ultrasonic measurement.SOLUTION: A subject information acquisition device includes a photoacoustic wave probe for receiving a photoacoustic wave generated by a subject irradiated with light, an ultrasonic wave probe for receiving an ultrasonic wave transmitted to and reflected from the subject, and a signal processing part for generating a functional image on the basis of the photoacoustic wave, and generating a form image on the basis of the ultrasonic wave, and the signal processing part divides the functional image into a plurality of areas on the basis of a predetermined threshold, executes different image processing in each area, and subsequently displays the functional image on a display part by overlapping the functional image on the form image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
