PURPOSE: A disposing method for recycling food waste, and a disposal apparatus thereof are provided to dispose food waste selectively in a route between two routes from first and second collectors to first and second dehydrators, thereby preventing the whole disposing system from being stopped. CONSTITUTION: A disposing method comprises the steps of: injecting food waste to at least one between a first collector(3) and a second collector (3)； discharging the food waste injected to the first collector to a first inlet of a dispersion conveyor, and discharging the food waste injected to the second collector to a second inlet； and distributing the food waste flowed into the dispersion conveyor to an outlet selected between a first outlet and a second outlet of the dispersion conveyor. The food waste discharged through the first and second outlets crushes food waste and plastic covers in a first crusher (15) and a second crusher (17) respectively. The food waste discharged from the first and second crushers is induced into a first dehydrator (18) and a second dehydrator (19), and hydrated. The hydrated food waste is dried and cooled, and foreign substances are removed from the food waste.본 발명은 폐기되는 음식물 쓰레기를 사료 또는 비료 등의 유용한 자원으로 활용하기 위한 음식물 쓰레기의 처리방법 및 이를 이용한 처리장치에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 연속운전을 통해 처리과정에서 음식물의 부패를 방지하고 처리과정에서 발생하는 악취물질을 효과적으로 제거하며 건조에 필요한 열원을 폐기물 처리과정에서 발생하는 재생유를 이용함으로써 환경개선 및 경제성을 확보하고 양질의 사료 또는 비료를 제공할 수 있는 음식물 쓰레기의 처리방법 및 이를 이용한 처리장치에 관한 것이다.
