PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take a tomographic image of an anterior eye part appropriately.SOLUTION: An ophthalmological photographing apparatus includes an interference optical system that splits the light emitted from a light source into measuring light and reference light, guides the measuring light to an eyeground or an anterior eye part of an eye to be examined, guides the reference light to a reference optical system inside an apparatus, and then causes a light receiving element to receive interference light acquired by synthesizing the measuring light reflected by the eyeground or the anterior eye part of the eye to be examined, and the reference light, and is capable of taking a tomographic image of the eyeground and the anterior eye part of the eye to be examined based on an output signal of the light receiving element. The ophthalmological photographing apparatus further includes mode setting means capable of setting a mode to an eyeground imaging mode for taking a tomographic image of the eyeground of the eye to be examined and an anterior eye part imaging mode for taking a tomographic image of the anterior eye part of the eye to be examined, and control means for prohibiting the movement of a focusing lens and an optical path length varying member arranged in the interference optical system when taking an image by the anterior eye part imaging mode.
