The present invention relates to a method of the validation of the interaction between a user and a tactile surface. The touch-sensitive surface comprises a zone in which an interaction with an element distinct from the active surface a function of an equipment associated with this area. The method comprises the following steps: - detection (s1) of an interaction between the zone of the touch-sensitive surface and the separate element, - determination (s2) of a spatial position of the zone of the touch-sensitive surface, - determination (s5) of a spatial position of the user's eyes, - comparison (s7) between the spatial position of the zone of the touch-sensitive surface and the spatial position determined of the user's eyes, - as a function of the result of the comparison, activation (s12) or nonactivation (s9) of the function. The process does not activate the function that if the user looks at the zone that it touches.
