PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gait analysis device that can estimate a walking state in a short time.SOLUTION: A gait analysis device has a determination unit 42, a feature value calculation unit 460 and an estimation unit 48. The determination unit 42 determines a walking start time when a subject starts walking, based on the acceleration measured by a measuring unit 40 worn by the subject. The feature value calculation unit 460 calculates at least any one of acceleration feature values of: the acceleration in the vertical direction of the subject measured by the measuring unit 40 during a predetermined period from the walking start time as a period when the movement in the walking of the subject does not become routine, when the walking start time is determined； and the acceleration in the horizontal direction substantially perpendicular to the traveling direction of the subject. The estimation unit 48 identifies the walking state of the subject, based on the feature value calculated by the feature value calculation unit 460.【課題】短時間で歩行状態を推定することができる歩行分析装置を提供すること。【解決手段】歩行分析装置は、判定部４２と、特徴量算出部４６０と、推定部４８と、を有する。判定部４２は、対象者が装着した計測部４０が計測した加速度に基づいて、対象者が歩行を開始した歩行開始時点を判定する。特徴量算出部４６０は、歩行開始時点が判定された場合、対象者の歩行における動きが定常化していない期間として歩行開始時点からの予め定めた期間に計測部４０が計測した対象者の鉛直方向の加速度及び対象者の進行方向に対してほぼ直交する水平方向の加速度の少なくともいずれかの加速度の特徴量を算出する。推定部４８は、特徴量算出部４６０が算出した特徴量に基づいて、対象者の歩行状態を識別する。【選択図】図３
