The invention relates to a composition containing: a) the agrochemical ingredient glufosinate, b) optionally one or more additional agrochemical ingredients, c) one or more N-alkylglucamides of the formula (I), wherein R1 represents a linear or branched alkyl group with 5 to 9 carbon atoms, and R2 represents an alkyl group with 1 to 3 carbon atoms, d) one or more co- or trivalent alcohols as co-solvents, e) optionally one or more nitrogen-containing salts and/or urea, f) optionally one or more surfactants, g) optionally one or more additional conventional auxiliary formulation agents, and h) water. The compositions according to the invention are low-foam aqueous formulations of agrochemical ingredients which are highly effective and which are characterized by a very advantageous toxicological and ecological profile and have a good storage stability while simultaneously being highly biologically effective.
