The leaflet clip has an elongate member that includes a proximal end portion and a distal end portion, and a first clipping arm and a second clipping arm that are movable between an open position and a closed position. The clipping arm includes a respective proximal end portion coupled to the proximal end portion of the elongate member and a respective distal end portion extending distally and radially outward with respect to the elongate member. The leaflet clip further comprises a tubular member disposed coaxially around the elongated member.
