According to the present invention, a system apparatus for recommending a cosmetic product in accordance with a skin type of a user comprises: an information transceiving module to receive user skin information including information about a skin color of a user and information about an oil/moisture condition of the skin of the user via a communication terminal of the user； a user skin type determination module to use the received user skin information to determine any one among a plurality of predetermined skin types as a skin type of the user； a database module storing types of cosmetic products suitable for the plurality of predetermined skin types； and a cosmetic product selection module to search the database module to select a cosmetic product suitable for the determined skin type of the user to transmit the cosmetic product to the communication terminal of the user via the information transceiving module.
