Described are a method and system for determining social intimacy. The determining method according to the present invention includes the steps of: detecting PPG data from the micro movements of bodies of at least two users detecting hear rhythm coherence (HRC) data from the PPG data of the two users and determining relationship (intimacy) between the two users by comparing the HRC data of the two users. Accordingly, the present invention can quantitatively evaluate social relationship or intimacy between speakers online, in real time.사회적 친밀도를 판단하는 방법 및 시스템에 대해 기술한다. 판단 방법:은 적어도 두 사용자의 신체 미동으로부터 PPG 데이터를 검출하는 단계 두 사용자의 PPG 데이터로부터 HRC (Heart Rhythm Coherence) 데이터를 검출하는 단계 그리고 상기 두 사용자의 HRC 데이터를 비교하여 두 사용자간의 관계성 (친밀도)을 판단하는 단계를 포함한다.
