The invention relates to a device which makes it possible to carry out pruning of trees by means of two opposed cutters (4 and 5) situated on either side of a guide (3). It consists of a fine piece of steel equipped with a notch of roughly rectangular shape which determines the height of the cutters (4 and 5) as well as the shape and the course of the guide (3). The device according to the invention is intended in particular for pruning trees with a view to improving the technical quality of the wood produced. <IMAGE>
