A wheelchair with inflatable lifesaving means comprises a trigger-to-inflate mechanism and an inflating gasbag mechanism. The inflatable lifesaving means is provided below the seat of the wheelchair. The trigger-to-inflate mechanism has a sensing unit and a valve, and is communicated with the inflating gasbag mechanism through the valve. The trigger-to-inflate mechanism and the inflating gasbag mechanism are provided with an alkaline medicament and an acidic substance, respectively. When the sensing unit senses a water pressure to open the valve, the alkaline medicament in the trigger-to-inflate mechanism flows into the inflating gasbag mechanism through the valve and is mixed with the acidic substance to generate a gas.
