PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amino acid-modified organopolysiloxane, which can be produced under mild reaction conditions and gives favorable lasting performances of cosmetic effects by compounding in cosmetics, and to provide a production method of the compound and cosmetics.SOLUTION: The amino acid-modified organopolysiloxane includes an organopolysiloxane segment constituting the main chain and an organic group expressed by general formula (1) bonded to at least one of silicon atoms in the main chain.
