The present invention provides methods for treating cutaneous metastases.In one aspect, the method can include identifying a treatment area that comprisesone or more lesions containing metastatic cells； and administering an IRM compoundto the treatment area in an amount effective for treating the lesion. In anotheraspect, the method can include identifying a treatment area that comprises oneor more lesions containing metastatic cells； and administering a TLR7 agonistto the treatment area in an amount effective for treating the lesion. In anotheraspect, the method can include identifying a treatment area that comprises oneor more lesions containing metastatic cells； and administering a TLR8 agonistto the treatment area in an amount effective for treating the lesion.
