A transparent soap composition is provided to shorten a ripening period significantly and maintain hardness and transparency of a soap by comprising glycerine monoester of a mixture consisting of an organic acid and a fatty acid with no use of triethanol amine and no or minimum use of a volatile alcohol. A transparent soap composition comprises: 20-50 wt.% of a soap； 10-50 wt.% of a transparentizing agent； 1-10 wt.% of glycerine monoester of a mixture consisting of an organic acid and a fatty acid； 3-10 wt.% of an anionic or a non-ionic surfactant； and 5-25 wt.% of purified water. Further, the organic acid is one or more selected from citric acid, lactic acid, succinic acid, maleic acid, malic acid, glutamic acid, acetic acid and tartaric acid.본 발명은 유기산과 지방산 혼합물의 글리세린 모노에스테르를 1 내지 10 중량%으로 포함함으로써, 트리에틸아민을 사용하지 않고 휘발성 알코올은 최소로 사용하거나 전혀 사용하지 않으며, 장시간의 숙성 기간이 필요하지 않으면서 투명도, 경도 및 색상 안정성이 우수하고, 물 흡수에 의해 쉽게 물러지지 않는 투명 비누 조성물을 제공한다.
