An electric fence system including a control module and a separate monitoringmodule and/or an energiser module. The provision of at least one wireless communicationlink between modules provides electrical isolation. Providing the energiserand monitoring module as separate units overcomes isolation requirements forcombined energiser/monitors. The control module may display status informationfor associated modules based on status information communicated by the associatedmodule. There is also disclosed methods of monitoring pulses applied to an electricfence and for controlling interference.
