PURPOSE: A medical system providing an optimal ultrasound image for an interventional treatment and method thereof are provided to supply an optimal ultrasound image in which a needle is clearly shown, thereby increasing the accuracy and usability of a treatment. CONSTITUTION: A medical treatment tool(110) eliminates a lesion within an object. An ultrasound data obtaining unit(120) obtains ultrasound data by receiving the ultrasound signal reflected from the object. A processor(130) detects the location of the needle from the ultrasound image by performing motion tracking in the ultrasound image. A storage unit(140) stores the ultrasound image formed on the processor.
