The present invention relates to a novel Streptomyces griseus KNU-05 strain having activities of promoting plant growth, antifungal activities, or nitrogen fixation activities. The present invention further relates to a microbial preparation for promoting plant growth and controlling plant disease using the same. The KNU-05 strain has activities of promoting plant growth and nitrogen fixation activities, and thus can be used as an eco-friendly fertilizer. In addition, the KNU-05 strain also shows antifungal activities against Rhizoctonia solani and Pythium ultimum which are plant pathogenic fungi causing root rot and sheath blight in plant, thereby being used as an eco-friendly pesticide. Therefore, it is expected that the KNU-05 strain, according to the present invention, can be used variously in an eco-friendly farming method.본 발명은 식물생장 촉진 활성, 항진균 활성, 또는 질소 고정 활성을 가지는 신규한 스트렙토마이세스 그리세우스(Streptomyces griseus) KNU-05 균주 및 이를 이용한 식물생장 촉진용 및 식물병제 방제용 미생물 제제 등에 관한 것이다. 상기 KNU-05 균주는 식물생장 촉진 활성 및 질소 고정 활성을 갖는 것으로 확인되었는바 친환경 비료로써 이용이 가능하고, 식물에 잎집무늬마름병과 뿌리썩음병을 유발하는 식물 병원성 진균인 Rhizoctonia solani 및 Pythium ultimum 에 대해 항진균 활성을 갖는 것으로 확인되었는바 친환경 농약으로써도 이용이 가능하다. 따라서 본 발명에 따른 상기 KNU-05 균주가 친환경적 농법으로써 다양하게 이용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
