SOLUTION: The butter flavor seasoning composition in the form of powder, granules or paste, contains a butter-flavored oil ingredient and yeast extract. Another version of the composition in the form of powder, granules or paste, contains a butter-flavored oil ingredient, a base material and yeast extract. The method for producing the butter flavor seasoning composition includes mixing a butter-flavored oil ingredient and yeast extract together and making the mixture into a powdery granular or pasty form. Another version of the method includes mixing a butter-flavored oil ingredient, a base material and yeast extract together and making the mixture into a powdery granular or pasty form. Besides, the method for enhancing the flavor of food/drink includes compounding either one of the butter flavor seasoning compositions.
