PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope observation device which is capable of appropriately combining, displaying and simultaneously observing video images by two video scopes without the need of troublesome operations and is excellent in operability.

SOLUTION: The endoscope observation device includes: a display means 16 for displaying the video images a first video signal input part 45 for inputting first video signals including a first picked-up image by a first solid-state imaging element 1x incorporated in a first scope 1 a second video signal input part 46 for inputting second video signals including a second picked-up image by a second solid-state imaging element 2x incorporated in a second scope 2 of a kind different from the first scope 1 a video composition means 47 for specifying a first image including the first picked-up image from the inputted first video signal, specifying a second image including the second picked-up image from the second video signal, combining the specified first image and second image so as to be suited to the display means 16 and generating composite video signals to be displayed at the display means 16 and a control means 48 for controlling the generation of the composite video signals by the video composition means 47.
