The present invention discloses a modified nasogastric tube for feeding nutritional solution to patients who are unable to feed on their own. The tube is devoid of fixed external hanging tube from the nostrils thereby eliminating the problems of infection and psychological stigma. The nasogastric tube of the present invention comprises of a hollow flexible internal tube[1], a hollow cylindrical support[2], an aesthetic nose clip[3], a hollow flexible detachable external tube[4] and a storage container[5]. The hollow flexible internal tube[1] of predetermined length has two ends, closed top end and opened bottom end in which number of tiny holes are disposed on circumferential surface at predetermined length above the bottom end of the internal tube[1] for easy discharge of nutritional solution into stomach and the closed top end is closed by means of thin layer with a slit. The hollow cylindrical support[2] of predetermined length is disposed on outer circumferential surface on the top end side of the internal tube. The aesthetic nose clip[3] comprises of O ring with pair of clips in which the O ring is disposed on outer circumferential surface on the top end of the internal tube in front of the hollow cylindrical support The hollow flexible detachable external tube[4] of predetermined length is adapted to be inserted into the top end of the internal tube through the slit during feeding. The storage container[5] is for storing the external tube when feeding is complete.
