The present invention relates to an antioxidant composition containing a Teleogryllus emma extract as an active ingredient and, more specifically, to an antioxidant pharmaceutical composition, health functional food, and cosmetic composition containing a domestic native Teleogryllus emma extract and an organic solvent fraction thereof as active ingredients. The Teleogryllus emma extract and ethyl acetate fraction of the antioxidant composition of the present invention, as demonstrated by the embodiments of the present specification, have strong scavenging ability for various active radicals. In particular, the ethyl acetate fraction exhibits very strong scavenging ability for active anions, active cations, and nitrites, and simultaneously exhibits excellent reduction power. The active ingredient is processed in various forms such as an extract, a powder, a pill, a tablet, and the like, and is very useful to be applied as an antioxidant food, a health functional food, a pharmaceutical composition, or a medicine additive.본 발명은 왕귀뚜라미(Teleogryllus emma) 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 항산화 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는, 국내 토착종 귀뚜라미인 왕귀뚜라미의 추출물 및 이의 유기용매 분획물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 항산화용 약학적 조성물, 건강 기능 식품 및 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 항산화 조성물의 유효성분으로서의 왕귀뚜라미 추출물 및 이의 에틸아세테이트 분획물은, 본 명세서의 실시예를 통해 증명된 바와 같이, 다양한 활성 라디칼에 대해 강력한 소거능을 가지며, 특히, 상기 에틸아세테이트 분획은 활성 음이온, 활성 양이온, nitrite에 대해 매우 강력한 소거능을 나타내며, 우수한 환원력을 동시에 나타낸다. 상기 유효성분은 추출액, 분말, 환, 정 등의 다양한 형태로 가공되어 항산화성 식품, 건강 기능 식품, 약학 조성물, 또는 의약품 첨가제 등의 용도에 적용되기에 매우 유용한 발명이다.
