Provided are an Internet of Things (IoT)-based plant cultivator and a plant cultivation system capable of effectively supplying carbon dioxide required for growth of plants by introducing outdoor air, and controlling a period and time in which the outdoor air is introduced according to the number and variety of plants by sensing capsules disposed on the plant cultivator, thereby improving cultivation efficiency. The plant cultivator comprises: a case having a cultivation space； a tray disposed in the cultivation space and including a plurality of spots in which capsules are arranged； a culture medium module supplying a culture medium to the tray； a sensor module generating control data by sensing the capsules arranged on the tray； an inflow channel providing a passage through which outdoor air is introduced to the cultivation space； and an electronic control unit controlling whether the inflow channel is opened. The electronic control unit enables the inflow channel to have a plurality of opening sections with respect to a time axis, and at least one of a period of a start point of the plurality of opening sections and a holding time of the plurality of opening sections is determined according to the control data.본 발명에서는 외기를 도입하여 식물 생장에 필요한 이산화탄소를 효과적으로 공급할 수 있고, 식물 재배기에 배치된 캡슐을 센싱하여 식물의 개수와 품종 등에 따라 외기가 유입되는 주기와 시간을 제어함으로써, 재배 효율을 향상시킨 IoT(Internet of Things)를 기반 식물 재배기 및 식물 재배 시스템이 제공된다.상기 식물 재배기는 재배 공간이 존재하는 케이스； 상기 재배 공간에 배치되고, 캡슐이 배치되는 복수의 스팟이 형성되어 있는 트레이； 상기 트레이로 배양액을 공급하는 배양액 모듈； 상기 트레이에 배치되는 캡슐을 센싱하여 제어 데이터를 생성하는 센서 모듈； 외기를 재배 공간으로 유입하는 유로를 제공하는 유입 채널； 상기 유입 채널의 개방 여부를 제어하는 전자 제어 유닛을 포함하고, 상기 전자 제어 유닛은 상기 유입 채널이 시간축을 기준으로 복수의 개방 구간을 가지도록 하며, 상기 제어 데이터에 따라 상기 복수의 개방 구간의 시작점의 주기와 상기 복수의 개방 구간의 유지 시간 중 적어도 하나를 결정하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
