Disclosed are antiperspirant compositions comprising:a) from 10 to 35 wt. %, based on the total weight of the composition, of antiperspirant activeb) triethyl hexanoin,c) at least one additional non-volatile oil, andd) from 1.5 to 30 wt. %, based on the total weight of composition, of structurant,wherein:the ratio, by weight, of triethylhexanoin to additional non-volatile oil is from 5:1 to 1:2in combination, triethylhexanoin and additional non-volatile oil provide from 35 to 65% of the total weight of the compositionthe composition contains from 0 to 5 wt. % of volatile silicone oilthe composition is anhydrous andthe composition is in the form of a solid or soft solid.Also disclosed are methods of making such stick compositions, and methods of ameliorating perspiration by the topical application of such compositions to the skin.
